Taco Bell Hits the Airwaves

Tuesday July 1, 2003
Hold on to your stomach. Taco Bell is introducing a Chicken Caesar Grilled Stuft Burrito with a new commercial. The spot features a race car driver in the pit but his crew is too busy to stop eating. The spot will air through August 9 with the "Think Outside the Bun" tagline.

This is the newest ad since a judge ruled against Taco Bell in a recent lawsuit. Two men claim they created the talking chihuahua character seen in the "Yo Quiero Taco Bell" campaign and won a $30 million judgment. Taco Bell is appealing that decision.

I’m glad to hear that Taco Bell got sued. They should get sued more often! They do more FALSE ADVERTISING than anyone! They always show the taco with beef BULGING out the ends, or a burrito with ingredients overflowing over the tortilla. What a crock! When you go and buy one, you have to search inside to see what little you get! What a rip-off! I AVOID Taco Bell!!
