New Maytag Man

Gordon Jump, of WKRP in Cincinnati and more recently known as the Maytag man, is retiring from the business. The 71-year-old actor became the Maytag Repairman in 1988, replacing the late Jesse White who had the role from 1967-1988. Actor Hardy Rawls will become the new lonely repairman after he endured interviews, screen tests and the approval of focus groups.
