Tip of the Week: Check for Specials on Banner Ads

As you and your advertising budget enter the New Year, be sure you know what you're getting. Before you purchase banner ad space on the Web, ask if you're buying CPM (cost per thousand impressions) or CTR (cost per click through). You'll also want to ask if you can get a better deal by buying in bulk, a certain amount of set time or even by purchasing a certain percentage of impressions on a specific page.
