Tip of the Week: A Copywriter's Salary

Tuesday January 6, 2004
Knowing what your talent is worth depends on where you live as well as your experience. An advertising agency in a small town isn't going to be able to pay you the same as an ad agency in a big city.

Copywriters working in Atlanta ad agencies with one to three years experience generally make between $32,000 and $43,000. Copywriters in a small towns may make as low as the teens but are usually able to earn in the twenties range for the same amount of experience.
