1,500 School Newspapers to Accept National Ads
Friday April 2, 2004
Campus Media Group and J & S Printing have entered into a deal that will open up 1,500 high school newspapers to national advertisers. The deal gives schools cash or rebates for access to youth consumers.
The agreement comes at a time when advertising to the younger demographic is under fire already. School districts are pulling deals with fast food and soft drink companies and a new psychology report condemns the rising commercialization of children and teens.
