Two Arrested in AOL Spam Scam

An AOL software engineer has been charged with stealing 92 million AOL screen names and selling them to a spammer. The spammer allegedly used the screen names to promote his online gambling Web site before selling the list to more spammers. If convicted, both could face five years in prison and $250,000 in fines under the new anti-spam laws.
