Tip of the Week: Your Direct Mail Campaign Schedule

Saturday July 10, 2004
When sending your direct mail campaign through regular mail, you need to plan out your mailing schedule to increase your chances of getting your direct mail noticed.

Avoid plans for your direct mail to reach your target audience on a Monday. These are heavy mailing days and you want your hard work to be noticed not thrown in the trash, confused with the day's junk mail.

Tuesdays are the lightest mail days and are a great time for your mailing to arrive, followed by the second lightest mail day, Wednesday. Direct Mail's Deadly Sins helps you avoid other direct mail blunders that could affect your campaign's success.
