Amazon and Microsoft Sue Spammers

Amazon.com and Microsoft are teaming up to fight spammers. They've filed lawsuits against U.S. and Canadian companies who allegedly use Amazon and Microsoft's company names to send fraudulent Emails.

Companies forging the Email addresses make it appear that you're receiving a legitimate Email from companies like Amazon or Microsoft and many ask for credit card numbers and other personal information. Microsoft has been vigilant against companies they believe have been forging their Email headers, filing 70 lawsuits since June.
