Tip of the Week: Writing Catalog Copy

Whether you're writing catalog copy for a Web site or for print, you've got to write a tight, brief description. While an online catalog may tempt you to write in great lengths about a product, your main focus should be selling the customer on the product in a short amount of space. A nice picture of the product next to a short description is much better than eight paragraphs describing your product's history and the 52 reasons why your customer needs to buy it now.
