Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue Pulls in $35 Million in Ad Dollars

The annual Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue is on stands now but ad revenues have hit a slight dip. Last year's issue featured 113 ads for a total of $36.5 million. This year, SI sold 107 for $35 million.
Sales of the issue are expected to pick up the $1.5 million loss. The Swimsuit Edition averages $50 million a year in revenue.
