Five Types of Brochures
Tuesday April 5, 2005
Consumers are usually well-informed of a product or service before they actually make a purchase. We get that way because we read up on product, know everything about it before we buy and even comparison shop. Know what type of brochure you need to get consumers one step closer to making a purchase.

Good article.
Here are some ideas on good ways to use these types of brochures:
- Point-of-sale brochures are particularly good for up-sells / cross-sells. The customer is probably aware (or in the process of purchasing) your product/service. Use a brochure to ask them “would you like fries with that?”.
- Leave behinds are a good way to include research, stats and facts that reinforce and supplement what you’ve said.
- Sales support brochures are good way to engage with your customer. Offer it by holding the brochure out (half way between yourself and the customer so you are not invading their space) and watch your customer reach for it!
