Comcast and TiVO Look to Update Recorded Ads

Comcast and TiVo are working together on an advertising system that will automatically update your previously recorded programs with new ads. Even programs recorded several weeks ago would have their commercials updated.
The new ad system would also track viewing habits to send more targeted ads. Since most people fast forward through the commercials recorded on their DVRs, advertisers are concerned about losing opportunities through DVRs. Comcast and TiVO are hoping their ad plans will change all that.
