Campbell's Chunky Soup is making its next round of commercials a part of the family for the McNabbs. Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb and his mother Wilma will now become a trio with the addition of Donovan's father Sam to the lineup.
Campbell's says teaming up with the NFL for commercials has helped put the brand back on the map. Sales have increased from $200 million to $500 million since the campaign started in 1998.
The new commercials mark Donovan's fifth year fronting the soup, Sam's first, of course, and Wilma's fourth year. She landed the role of Donovan's mother after the first year when she said she could do a better job playing Donovan's mom than the actress hired to portray her.
