Trump Tells Advertising Specialty Institute He Wanted $2 Million

Thursday June 2, 2005
Donald Trump says he wanted $2 million per episode of The Apprentice. He told a group of promotional product makers at an Advertising Specialty Institute trade show that NBC execs weren't willing to fork out the type of dough they paid to the Friends stars for Trump's show.

Trump encouraged the crowd to sell a product no one else is selling. His own name has been branded on bottled water, fragrances and even a 12-inch talking doll.
