Networks to Offer Ad-Free TV

Want to watch your favorite shows ad-free? Willing to pay 99 cents per program?
Both CBS and NBC are teaming up with Comcast and DirecTV, respectively, to offer certain programs ad-free to viewers who are willing to pay 99 cents to watch. CBS and Comcast have signed a deal that will allow viewers to watch The Amazing Race, CSI, NCIS and Survivor ad-free for 99 cents after the programs air on the West Coast. NBC will have a similar deal with DirecTV for Battlestar Galactica, Law & Order: SVU, Law & Order: CI, Monk, The Office and Surface.
