AOL Delivers Classic TV to Web

Tuesday November 15, 2005
AOL has signed a deal with Warner Bros. to air 100 classic TV shows on the Internet starting in January 2006. The deal gives AOL the rights to webcast 300 episodes a month of everything from V to Alice.

Each episode will have four :15 commercials. AOL made a big leap earlier this year to offer a variety of content free of charge to help bring in online advertisers. AOL's deal with Warner Bros. gives both companies a share of the ad revenue.
