Wednesday January 18, 2006
Search engine Google will buy dMarc Broadcasting, a company that helps advertisers buy and track their radio ads. Experts say the price tag for the deal could be $1.2 billion.
The deal gives dMarc $102 million in cash right now. If Google's plans are met, it will pay $1.14 billion over the next three years. Part of Google's plans are to use dMarc in conjunction with the Google AdWords program.
