GoDaddy.com's 14th Super Bowl Submission Approved
Thursday February 2, 2006
GoDaddy.com founder Bob Parsons has made his company's attempts to get a Super Bowl commercial approved very public using his blog. ABC rejected 13 versions of GoDaddy's commercial for Super Bowl XL before approving its 14th submission just days before the big game airs.
Parsons has denied in his blog that his company is submitting ads that are too sexy post-Janet Jackson breast exposure just to get publicity. He promises there will be an even steamier Internet-only version à la Paris Hilton and Carl's Jr.
The commercial features the same actress used in GoDaddy's Super Bowl debut in 2005. GoDaddy's quest to get a Super Bowl ad approved began in November 2005. Look for the GoDaddy.com commercial during the sixth commercial break of Super Bowl XL.
