Ford Makes Another Bold Move

Friday April 28, 2006
After signing Kelly Clarkson to pitch Ford and its new tagline "Bold Moves" this week, the automaker is making another aggressive move. Ford is planning a reality show where contestants create cars.

The show's concept is to allow contestants to design dream cars by working with Ford designers. The show will be shopped to the major networks but a deal has not been finalized as of this writing. More on Ford's New Ad Campaign with Kelly Clarkson:

The new ad campaign featuring Kelly Clarkson debuts during Tuesday's American Idol on Fox. The first commercial, titled "Anthem," will feature Clarkson singing a new song for Ford.

One commercial shows a father teaching his son how to drive a Mustang GT. Another shows a mother and daughter standing on the edge of a cliff before leaping into the water below. Ford called a special meeting for dealers to get a sneak peek into the new ad campaign and asked for them to plan on local and regional advertising.

The Kelly Clarkson commercials are great, but who is the guy that appears in the new Shelby Mustang commericals. He take a shelby to Germany to drive because he likes the speed limits? Can anyone help me find out who this is? The commercial is called “Mustang Germany Spot” I think.
