I found the commerical very amusing, I want a copy of it. But yeah I hope it does them good, we need more competition in this industry.
YOU BETTER BELIEVE THE COMMERCIAL WORKS, EVERYONE IN LOGAN, WV IS TALKING ABOUT IT HERE!!!
This is the most obnoxious commercial. In fact, it uses the same high pitched sound as does the emergency broadcasting system. I think the commercial is illegal and should be removed from television.
Diane (above) is a moron. Apparently, she uses a service that Alltel is making fun of. Nothing illegal about the commercial at all. No different than other companies poking fun at each other. She’s just envious of Alltel’s great ability to call ANY other network for FREE! AWESOME
for some reson every time this commercial aires, they post a warning before it that says “our lawyers would like to inform you that the cheracters used……. ” (i never got to read the rest of it)
anyway, dose this mean that there was some kind of lawsute, because they only resontly added this
our lawyers would like to inform you that some of the characteres you are about to see are not associated with Alltel.
They are looka-likes. The characters, not our lawyers.
Would have, until they changed the yellow shirted actor.
I would like to know what happened to the first actor who had the curley hair and had the line “He brought the chucks”? The guy they have now in his place looks like he’s wearing a bad wig, and he looks a lot older than the others. Where is the first guy?
The funniest thing about those commercials is Alltel itself…I switched from Alltel to one of the nerdy competitors that the commercial makes fun of and I couldn’t be happier. I laugh everytime I see the Alltel guy bragging about “cool new phones”–what a joke. And the best part is that Verizon bought Alltel (and its debt)!
