Disney/Pixar's Cars Has More Than 350 Product Tie-Ins

Disney and Pixar's summer movie Cars is gearing up to make money on more than just the movie. There are over 70 licensees and more than 350 product tie-ins.

Partners for the movie include State Farm Insurance, Target, Kellogg's, Kelley Blue Book, iTunes, Goodyear and the US Department of Transportation, among others. Almost 70 toy cars have also been developed. Playsets, tents, crafts, books, handheld games, decor, tennis shoes, bath towels and even pinatas are just some of the Cars gear being released.

The movie is aimed at children, especially boys age 3-6 and their parents. Cars and its marketing blitz open June 9.
