DirecTV is breaking a new TV commercial this week in its "There's good TV, there's better TV, then there's DirecTV," ad campaign. Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning is in the middle of game play when he turns to the camera and starts pitching DirecTV's "NFL Sunday Ticket" package.
More on the DirecTV campaign:
The ad campaign launched at the end of April 2006. The two initial commercials in the campaign feature Bill Paxton reprising his role in Twister and Ben Stein goes back to the classroom for his role in Ferris Bueller's Day Off.
Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Bill Cowher will appear in another DirecTV commercial in July. Verne Troyer, better known as "Mini-Me" from the Austin Powers movies, starred in a DirecTV commercial debuting in May 2006.
