Tip: Freelancers Must Have Contracts

Monday September 4, 2006
No matter how big or how small the project, you and the client need to sign a contract. It helps both of you be on the same page with the project, your policies, due date and payment terms.

Plus, it helps protect you if the client decides not to pay. Creating contracts is simple and can be done from your own home. This sample contract shows you what a finished contract looks like.

I’ve been looking through this site trying to get information about writing a contract. Every link I click on for “sample contracts” takes me to sites that have no samples just links to other sites offering education opportunities or other irrelevant information or it just links back up to the top of the page where I started. SO not helpful!!!!! and extremely frustrating. I’ll have to go look somewhere else….
