Virginia Man Becomes New Maytag Man

Clay Jackson, of Richmond, Virginia, has been selected out of 1,500 people to become the new Maytag man. Maytag held a national search for the advertising icon who fronts the brand.
Maytag issued a press release saying Jackson will help "revitalize the Maytag brand and its heritage." The Maytag man is getting a makeover with a new uniform and, according to the company's press release, "a new attitude and is an evolution of the dependable character."
