Buy a medium or large drink during breakfast hours February 28 and 29 and McDonald's will throw in a free McSkillet during the national promotion. The breakfast burrito retails for about $2.49 but McDonald's wants consumers to sample the product that debuted in November 2007.
More on the McDonald's Giveaway:
A food item that costs $2.49 like the McSkillet's menu price generally carries a company cost of 75 cents. Beverages, on the other hand, carry a higher profit margin.
The promo follows McDonald's success with the Free Coffee Mondays campaign. A large coffee will run you about $1.33.
