Interpublic's McCann-Erickson Worldwide lost its $250 million Gateway account last month after the computer company went through a management shakeup.

Publicis Groupe's Fallon agency suffered a severe setback when talks with Gateway collapsed. Gateway's CEO decided to bring the company's $250 million account in-house.

The new in-house agency will closely resemble Gap's. Just like Gap, Gateway will only hire outside agencies and creatives on a per-project basis.

McCann-Erickson created the series of ads featuring Michael J. Fox. Those ads have been pulled and replaced. The new ads contain a simple shot of the Gateway logo with the song With A Little Help From My Friends by Joe Cocker as the only audio.
