Definition: A blog can be an extension of a website or it can be its own website. A majority of blogs are maintained by one person in a journal-type style with the posts appearing in reverse chronological order and they're updated regularly. Some corporate blogs are internal that only employees can view to discuss issues at work and develop a sense of community. Corporate blogs that are external are viewable to the public and can be maintained by executives or other employees. These types of blogs are usually used as a PR tool.
