Lack of Visuals

Let's talk more about video. This commercial's copy has potential to be coupled with some great video.

The fact that the entire commercial was shot with people in front of a white background doesn't serve the client well. Even the spokesperson and customer speaking about the dealership while actually standing on the lot in front of cars could have made the commercial a huge improvement over the finished product that actually hit the air.

Simple fixes for the video could have been the customer standing there with the car she bought from the dealership. The spokesperson references the "huge selection" but we don't see the dealership at all. Not even one car.

You also have to remember that these visuals help put the dealership in the viewer's mind. Seeing the lot, the cars, trucks, etc. is a lot more powerful than seeing a talking head speak at them.
