Second Quarter, Fourth Commercial Break

Brand: GM Corporate
Company: GM
Description: 100,000 Mile Warranty
Agency: Deutsch
A robot is laid off from the assembly line because GM's warranty is so good, the robot's not needed anymore. The robot looks for work but sees GM cars everywhere and ends up jumping off a bridge before waking up from the nightmare. Probably a cute commercial for a lot of people but not particularly funny to the assembly line workers who have been laid off.

Brand: Coca-Cola
Company: Coca-Cola
Description: Celebrate Black History
Agency: Wieden & Kennedy
Simple spot and the only Black History Month ad in the Super Bowl. It won't be on anyone's top five list of humorous spots during the game but it wasn't meant to be.

Second Quarter, Fifth Commercial Break

Brand: Wild Hogs
Company: Touchstone Pictures
Description: Movie Promo
Another movie with a spring release date. John Travolta, Martin Lawrence, William H. Macy and Tim Allen star in this flick. We'll just have to see if the record of spring release date movies promoted during the Super Bowl not doing as well as those with summer release dates holds up.

Brand: Sprint Mobile Broadband
Company: Sprint
Description: Connectile Dysfunction
Agency: Publicis & Hal Riney
Of course! Why hasn't someone made fun of all of the erectile dysfunction ads that flooded the Super Bowl in years past? This spin's simple humor makes it one of the most memorable for what it's actually selling.

Second Quarter, Sixth Commercial Break

Brand: Doritos, Lay's and Tostitos
Company: Frito-Lay
Description: Who's Winning? We All Are.
Agency: Goodby, Silverstein & Partners
People watch the game together. Mainly African American actors, which is probably Frito-Lay's unsaid way of acknowledging Black History Month. A simple corporate spot.

Second Quarter, Seventh Commercial Break

Brand: Coca-Cola
Company: Coca-Cola
Description: Never Had a Coke Before
Agency: Wieden & Kennedy
Hal Holbrook in a nursing home is kind of sad. But seeing him go out and do the things he's missed is fairly humorous. Not a lot of fanfare for Coca-Cola in this year's Super Bowl ads.
