Chevy and The Apprentice Team Up
Friday March 17, 2006
The Apprentice has become known for cross-promoting other products and this week's episode helped launch a commercial contest. Chevy wants consumers to create a commercial to promote the 2007 Tahoe.
The downside for creatives is that Chevy wants you to use clips they've already put together instead of submitting your own video. You drag and drop the clips to create your own version of a commercial.

I guess this marketing idea did not go as planned. These are some of the commercial spoofs I have found done by the tahoe website

I was looking for the Chevy commercial contest and didn’t see it. Did this already happen?
Rob, check the date on this post. It’s from 2 years ago so, yeah, the contest has ended.
