McCain Camp Releases Ad Hours After Obama Picks Biden

Saturday August 23, 2008
Anticipation and buzz around Democrat Barack Obama's vice president pick quickly became an advertising opportunity for Republican John McCain. Just hours after Obama announced his running mate will be Delaware Senator Joe Biden, McCain released a new ad featuring Biden's comments during a Democratic presidential primary debate. In the ad, political commentator George Stephanopoulos reads Biden's comments about Obama's readiness to be president. Then the ad shows Biden appearing on a political show discussing how he "would be honored to run with or against John McCain." The McCain campaign says the ad will run in key battleground states up until the election in November.

With Biden's debate comments being used while he was running for president, will the ad have any effect on voters? Share your opinion.
