Personally, I thought Super Bowl 2013 was one of the worst years for good advertising, ever. Nothing really shone, nothing made me laugh like a maniac, and nothing was an outstanding piece of writing. To be honest, the Jeep spot seemed like a blatant attempt to tug at heart strings, when really all Jeep wants to do is sell a bunch of cars. There were some small highlights, I did like the Mercedes spot primarily because it did a damned good job of selling. But overall, a bitter disappointment. What did you think?
