
I get asked often about budgets and expectations. "The client gave us a rotten budget, there's no way we can do anything with that!" To everyone who complains like this, be it in person, through emails or instant messages, I have only one reply - budget does not dictate quality. If you think big budgets = great ads, think again. And likewise, small budgets do not equate to poor ads. In fact, I usually find the reverse to be true. Big, expensive ads are all show and no content. Ads without money, they have to work a lot harder. So, next time you get a small budget, don't be small-minded about it. Think big, not big money.
